Project #Bring Music To Us!
About project
Basically this project can be resumed in a nutshell: it’s a series of concerts for targeted institutions (Special needs schools, neurological disorders and seniors centers) where the audience can participate actively using percussive instruments or singing, if they wish so – therapeutic music sessions.
A small summary of my project being presented to institutions:
“I propose to start the cycle of concerts from September 2023 onwards and there should be themed concerts in all institutions targeted. A total of 10 concerts – September until June. A total of 4 concerts – September until February.
Each concert will have a maximum duration of 45 minutes. If it prolongs there is no problem whatsoever for me. I’m always flexible and sensitive to the attention span of my targeted audience in such therapeutic music projects as this one.
Each concert will have their own theme, for example September 2023 – Top Hits of Classical Music, October 2023 – The best of Beatles, November 2023 – The best of Country Music, and so on until June, June being the 10th concert on this cycle of the this very promising community project Bring music to Us! Hudbu pre všetkých! Bring music to Us! Hudbu pre všetkých!
The concerts will be given in the shape of storytelling with the magic of sounds, a very dynamic input, stage performance from me.
No need for the audience to verbally join. But they are free to if they wish so. I will motivate a dynamic interaction between the participants by asking them to join by playing percussive instruments.
Support staff and nurses should be always present and more than welcome to join. In my experience support staff and nurses have been always delighted with such projects back in London by helping hold the patients in case they need or wish to move around the instruments.”
This is definitely not a one time project but a lifelong one. Because we are all humans and music heals and I with your support have a chance to make a difference in people’s lives.

My story
It has been a long journey from years of being under diagnosed to the last years of too many hospital stays. More than 10 MRIs in a space of 4 years, too many treatments and drug trials, too many times without walking properly, seeing, able to feel all right side of my body (yes, the bow), and the very scary progressive memory loss, the fatigue (no, not just a bad night, fatigue), too many rehearsals and concerts where the autopilot did it’s job. I’m thankful that I can still play and believe me, every time feels like a miracle. The constant MS flares, monthly attacks for years with high doses of costeroites and all the years of chronic pain. And no, not any pain, chronic pain. The pain that many times took me close to jumping in front of a bus or jumping into the train at the station where I stand most of the mornings. The level of pain that is so excruciating that I wonder if this is the last concert I do, ending up paralyzed in bed or if I can keep on teaching. The pain that humbles me to ask my husband to undress me, that makes my personal hygiene a nightmare. The pain that robbed me all the years of playing with my children. The domino effect on my family and closed ones. My nasty mood and the absence of a smile, years! And the list can go on. So yes, that sort of pain, chronic pain.
I can say that for the first time in countless years that I’m feeling better now. Not cured, better. Memory is playing its scary tricks and chronic pain is a daily struggle. There is no cure for MS and chronic pain. There is hope in the advance of medicine. There is hope that people will have the luck that I have of having an amazing neurological and rheumatological team that stand by you no matter what. So no cure but lots of hope.
I cannot thank enough for my team and for my gang – the ones that stayed with me throughout this journey.
Now, while the godly sciences do their own magic, I can happily say that I’m ready to kick on some of my dream projects.
